By My Own Way

"The strongest survive", they say. "After a great battle, there is always a great reward", some argue. Finally, "nothing happens without a purpose", people discuss.

As strange as it may sound, the fight for survival and all its involving difficulties, actually makes the existence of living organisms much easier. Natural selection laws firstly presented by famous Charles Darwin better perform their jobs in conditions, where species are craving for something and achieve it without so-called "artificial help". Evolution is only possible through various interactions, making the "fitter ones" adaptable, while others end up failing, and are eliminated subsequently.

Feeling fortunate enough to be born and raised in the era of complete abundance, contemporary generations too often disregard the consequences of this phenomenon. Right in the middle of past twentieth century, curious ethologist John Calhoun reflected upon the potential effects of overcrowded human society and its behaviour, in his Universe 25 experiment. After placing a considerably large amount of rats (approx. 2000 species) in paradisiac environments with limitless access to water, food and comfort, scientist obtained utterly disappointing results. The group vast majority began to isolate themselves, giving no chance for the reproduction process to occur, which led to almost complete extinction.

Ultimately, it became complicated (especially for millennials) to face people, interact offline with them and build relationships that last. Overall, let me just quickly remind you that truly memorable moments cannot be created inside your cosy little room by hugging the "total-in-trend" mobile phone. Go out, live your adventures and create whatever feels right since you do not have to fight for survival any more.

xoxo, Kate.

It has been a year. A year of working hard, challenging the limits as well as getting a range of unforgettable experiences. They say, "it's better late than ever". So, here I am perfectly recharged, ready to write a few words, or maybe not a few...

The concept of freedom, is way too simple at the first glimpse, but people all around the world have been spending centuries trying to find out the best manner to achieve it. Karl Marx once affirmed "The necessity is blind until it becomes conscious. Freedom is the consciousness of necessity". It would be slightly fallacious to assume that freedom leads directly to happiness, yet there is an undeniable connection between these terms, one helps maintain another and vice versa.

Also, we cannot disregard the fact that every important political move after the French Revolution was taken in the name of freedom. States were aiming to be independent, slaves were craving to be freed and people merely wanted to have a choice. So, what does exactly "freedom" mean? Wikipedia states "an ability to act or change without constraint". However, bearing in mind the complexity of human brain as well as our society itself, we can prolong the answer for quite impressing hours.

While formulating his pyramid of needs, Abraham Maslow was pretty confident about the importance of self fulfillment stage in everyday basis. Obviously, physiological along with psychological needs stay prior in this hierarchy, but in order to achieve the full potential it is advised to enrich life with creative activities. Those will be settling cognitive and aesthetics requirements of one's mind.

During my trip to Paris, I truly tried to live life for the fullest, visiting as many places as I could afford, having as much fun as possible. Let me admit that despite falling in love with every single day spent in the city, I cannot say that the place itself is for me. Paris is everything but a "perfect fairy tail" for princesses and their second halves.

P.S.: The photos below were captured by amazing Look4wow, who manages to catch people in the most sincere smiles and beautiful angles.

P.S. 2: Follow Me To Paris is already up on my YouTube channel (don't forget to subscribe haha).

 Merci beaucoup, Paris.

Everybody wants to have a voice, a place or a simple image in this tough game called life. Nowadays, fame is one of the leading wishes, specially within young generations. People expose their lives on social media because they crave to be observed or, using more appropriate term to 2017, liked. This constant accessibility to a lot of personal content on the internet divides society into two different groups, one of creators - by that I mean those who produce the content, and the other one is referred to viewers - those who watch/read it.

In order to grow their audiences, creators feel constantly obligated to make posts better, which implies the demonstration of a 'perfect&happy' lifestyle. As soon as the amount of followers increases, all of what was supposed to be genuine share, becomes nothing more than a characterless place for advertising. Multiple contracts with well-known brands provide financial success to social media figures, which, once again, they do not stop to show on every possible web page.

All the above, brings us to the emphasis of inequalities spread on a worldwide scale. Due to that, people who are mere observers become obsessed with material things, without paying attention to mental growth. Happiness is now confused with richness, contrariwise intellectual knowledge youngsters consider the most unnecessary. In fact, education is essential for each and every rational human being. You cannot achieve real wisdom if you are not educated enough.

To sum everything up without leaving negative echoes, look to colorful and feminine outfit, which I am wearing on the pictures below.

Smell some summer, peepz:)
